Job Description: Freelance Social Media Manager

Reports to: Senior Account Executive
 

Scencia is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in all aspects of content creation, with experience in copywriting and graphic design.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:
 

• Responsible for developing and creating social media content against strategic opportunities.

• Work closely with the Senior Account Executives to amplify messages and build voices across social media channels and build social media marketing education and enablement materials

• Maintain and grow social media content repositories and image libraries

• Assist in coordinating and scheduling all geo-targeted content for different regions

• Draft social media copy and content; proofread and edit social media materials for consistent product messaging and writing style

• Prepare measurement reports and social media dashboards for internal as well as external stakeholders

• Manage media monitoring, coverage reporting, and analysis
   

Qualifications:
 

• Proficient in all aspects of social content creation (e.g. copy and design skills)

• Experience with Adobe design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

• Actively participate in a wide variety of social media activities, especially Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest

• High standard of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Skilled in writing accurate, grammatical and terse copy in English

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field is preferred
